Need a Spot
Hi Guys,
Just got me another Amigo,,,2wd and lowered,,,looking sweet...I'll post some pics soon.
I was wondering if anyone makes a header for the 2.6 Migo.
Planning on putting a Delta Cam and exaust on this puppy until late summer when I intend to drop a chevy V8 and auto in it..
Or, has anyone put a V8 in one of these,,would like to have info on this prior to shooting in the dark..
Later,

Calmini sells headers for the 2.3 and 2.6...

IIRC, there have been a few v8 amigos... much more conversion in the 2wd variety than 4wd.

I definetely like the Pacesetter over the Cal, really notice the difference on the big end, just be pro-active and buy a better manifold gasket and file 13 their paper one before starting.

Is that pace setter header street legal or not? The Calmini one says it is not for street use?

EDIT by Mod: Just cleaning up some of the grammar and punctuation.

I believe that the Calmini header does not have California Air Resources Board (CARB) certification, so it has to carry that notation (Calmini is a California company).

I do not know whether people have had problems passing a test in any other test with the Calmini header installed.
