This weekend, Starchild and Joe Darlington went down to River Rock ORV in Milledgeville Georgia. I joined them today (sunday) to bring Joe a new tcase output flange (He broke 2 all weekend). I didnt get to bring the troop (wreck) but i had alot of fun riding along and taking pictures.
Enjoy:

Pretty much the coolest Frontera ive ever seen. D44/D60 by Rockcrusher, 35's, dual ARBs
[Linked Image]
"The Legend" Ford Ranger, 351 big block bored .60 over, with 46" baja claws, and full adjustable airbag suspension
[Linked Image]
"The Beast" The most beautiful truck of the weekend- Dual Dynatrac D60s, 5.7l V8, 46" claws, full cage, buncha stuff from blue torch fab, custom double triangulated 4-link susp. Luckily, the driver only had a nasty bang on the head, and after an oil change, the motor fired right up.

Thanks to Clay County 4x4 for the great weekend. I recommend River Rock ORV to anyone that is interested.

Just made it home. Great weekend

River Rock is a great park, and it's only going to get better. I think it's been around for a year, and they're always cutting new trails. We got to wheel with a great group of guys, and it's a little closer to me than Uwharrie There are basic facilities (read: no showers), but water and electric hookups for camping. The camp ground/ parking area is right in the middle of the park, and the trails branch out and loop back. The trails are not too long, the whole park is only 100 acres, but there are many little obstacles to play on. A good driver with a stock truck can make it through all the trails, but there are plenty of lines to challenge any rig.

Joe and I spent most of Saturday morning installing my new DOR Winch Bumper We hit the trails in the afternoon and watched a few of the bigger rigs play on the big rock pile.

Joe was showing off his flex

This particular spot was called Carnage Rock for obvious reasons

The Beast just starting to get tippy

and getting tipped back over

That was one well built rig. After a nasty roll, the only real damage was a bent hood, and broken rear bumpstop. He replaced a few fluids, and drove it the rest of the day.

Joe's second flange of the weekend. Got both ears that time

hehe, Joe needs to switch to Isuzu joints / flange, they seem to be a bit tougher. I've seen a few broken flanges on Zu's and they've all been the spicer / 1310 stuff.

We didn't mount the winch for this trip. I'm going to re-weld the mounts and trim a few areas to get the fit just right. Once everything is reinforced, it will be nice and sturdy, and heavy . I'll need to crank my T-bars back up a little after adding all that steel.

The Frontier was a custom suspension. He's running a radius arm style setup with 4" TJ coils. He had limit straps on each front tire, and it still flexed really well.

Yup Joe has definately found the fuse in his drivetrain.

Milledgeville? Why does that sound familiar? Is it near Fort Gordon? Bought my truck in Dallas (past Atlanta).

I have a theory that Georgia Clay is a rust preventative...

Here are a couple more galleries from the weekend

Clay County 4x4

Nissan Offroad

I'm sure video of the roll over should be up this week.

It was a great time meeting you guys. I hope to wheel with ya all again. I got all the raw video burned, but I have to figure out how to make it play on other DVD players before I make copies for all. I'm gonna shoot for the weekend.
Lator....
