Got a strange problem that just started out of the blue... My truck feels like it is loading up with fuel if the rpm's are below 2500. If im sitting at a stop for to long it will slowely idle down untill it stalls. If im leaving from a stop i have to rev up over 2500 and work the clutch to get moving without if kicking and bucking... Its acting like it was the last time i got Distributor wet.. Checked dist and wires. and played around with the air mixture... If it would quit snowing i would pull the plugs and check them out.. not sure were else to look... Its good the first 5 min of driving then it starts acting up.. then after about 15 min it seems to get better but not perfect... This truck has always run good.

Check the vacuum line at the fuel pressure regulator. Is it hooked up? Does it go to a vacuum switching valve? Is the vacuum line from the VSV connected to the intake? Does the VSV actually swich on and off? For a quick test, bypass the VSV and connect the FPR directly to the intake.

that all looked good ... Checked all the plugs, wires, dist, timing, fuel filter today and all were good... pulled the code and got code 11 that pointed to TPS... Also would a bad O2 cause any of these symptoms? It feels like its starving for gas teh more i drive it and listen to it... If it was flooding up i should at least be able to smell it running rich?

Test the TPS: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/index.shtml

And it is the O2 sensor that tells the ECU the amount of oxygen left in the exhaust and that is how it adjusts the air/fuel ratio. So if the O2 sensor is giving bad data back to the ECU. it could be getting the mixture wrong.
