on my 95 T100, what would be a good wire to wire my radar detector into so that it will have power when I start my T100? The wires supplied by Valentine 1 already have inline fuses. I was thinking either cigarette lighter or the ignition power wire for the radio. Are either one of those fine or should I be looking at some other wire?

How do you wire it in, did you cut the cig. plug off and expose the ground and power? Ive been considering doing the same thing on my radar detector, let me know what you come up with,
Ive been thinking of splicing directly into the power on the cig lighter wires behind the panel...

I have used the wire going to the cig lighter in the past. If you have any high drain items, use that wire to trip a relay. Easiest wire to get to.

I'm going to use a T-tap connector on a positive wire that comes on when the ignition is on and find a nearby screw that is gounded. then run the wires under the dash and up the side piller trim, tuck the wire between the windshield and headliner and have just a few inches hanging out that plugs into the radar detector

Mine has what looks like a 5 amp or less on it...very very small fuse, less than 1/2 inch long

As long as it draws under 5 amps (probably less than 3 as the fuse should be about 2X the draw)you should be good to hook it into the ign circuit. You just don't want to hook anything that draws a lot of current. The ign. sw. wasn't really designed to handle big loads and the contacts will eventually burn up with a high draw. That is when you go to a switching relay.
