Need a Spot
I just repalced my timing belt and waterpump on the 3.4 v6. i had the thing running perfectly but did not replace the bearings/pullys and the seals in one or the other came off got in the way of the timing belt and jumped time again. OK so i replace the two bearing/idler pulleys and get it running with the second timing belt. the first one got some teeth mashed pertty good so i replaced it. not i can not get the timing set. it lmost sounds like it an ignition problem now acts like i have a dead cylinder. but it was perfect after the first repair.
now it sputters at idle and there is constant missing all rpms.. all the plugs are connected and look good for timing marks... set the timing 10 times and the same problem could i have a bad mark on the timing belt or is this likely electrical.
i have a haynes manual and such but no help. is there an easy way to diagnose the coils ro ignition for this...

Manual shows the primary coil resistance (the small 2 prong plug) to be .67 to 1.05 ohms cold, .85 to 1.23 ohms hot. The seconday resistance taken between the coil positive and the high tension terminals should be 9.3 to 16 ohms cold, 11.7 to 18.8 ohms hot.
