Getting the Wheeling Fever

Ive had the cam in for two months along with another head that I got with a broken spark plug threads repaired by myself.I just drove my truck about 296 miles and did a fillup of gas and was suprised to find out I got 25.76 miles to the gallon.My truck is a 2wd 1 ton with 4:30 gears and stock tires size 195/75R14.

that's pretty good for having 4.30 gears and tiny tires like that. my 2wd had 3.08 gears and 195s, and got around 30mpg with a 4 speed and a worn out 22R.

my carbed rig gets 24-25 mpg on the highway w/ 33's 4.88 gears, eb's street rv head and 268 cam. im hoping a small jump when i put on my lce header, high flow cat, and a bigger cat back system.

87 22R PU, 2? body lift, 33? BFG muds, 4.88's, F&R Lock-Rights, Rancho Shocks, EB's Street RV Head w/ 268 Cam, LCE Header, 2" to 2 1/4" exhaust, Flowmaster 50 series, Magnaflow high flow cat, complete Herculined SR5 interior, V6 BB, MC, and calipers.
