How to find left-right cylinder head?

Okay probably a easy question, but I'm trying to figure out how you ID the heads.
Is it
left=========right front bumper
or
right---------left
front bumper
Anyone?

auto parts that carry a right and left designation are typically based on relationship to the driver when you are driving.
Left, drivers side
right, passeneger side
