since i havent heard back from the cc company for the summit car and the deal is almost up, how do 30's look on stock sportage rims? im thinking maybe leaving the outside of the rim silver and epoxypainting the rest black. and its a 5x5.5 bolt pattern right?

Body Damage is Cool
They don't look bad on the stockers, but I much prefer the look of the black wheels that I have now. They're cheap, too - $45/ea. They're Rockcrawler Wheels with an ugly little red pin strip on them That I painted over. (Can't ever tell.)

And, yep, 5 on 5.5".

Unknown. They told me it was the "stadard" back-spacing for a 15x7 wheel... The tires stick out just enough. Sorry I can't hep you more.

Morgan. I agree, the rims look great. I've been looking at ordering a set, but was unsure on what back spacing would be best. Did you order your rims from a company that would have a website. I'm still shopping around.. I'm going to get a 4' lift and really don't want to keep the stock rims. And I know it has been asked a thousand and one times , but what tire size does everyone recommend with a 4' each suspension lift and no body lift.....

I ordered them from the Desert Rat here in Albuquerque.

You can certainly fit 30"s w/o a BL and you can sqeeze in 31"s w/o a BL, as well. I had 31"s for a while w/o my 1" body lift. Hope that helps.
