I searched and searched, but couldn't really find anything relevant to the info I need.

I'm just wondering the exact amount of lift Pro Comp coil springs provide as I noticed Summit Racing has them for $76.95 If possible, I'd like to get an unloaded height for them as well; something else I haven't been able to find.

I have long side and short side FJ80 coils in the rear now and need to get rid of the long side. It's just too darn long for me. That and I have it on the passenger side, so there's only about a half inch between the control arm and the gas tank.

I haven't found anyone wanting to trade a coil with me and no one wants to sell me just a short side coil (even Christo @ Slee-who talked me into getting the Long and Short coils to begin with). So if I'm going to spend another $60 on coils, I figured I'd check out another option.
Don't bother mentioning downey or other manufacturers as I'm looking for the cheapest lift possible Unless of course you have a used set of springs and spacers for sale

Does anyone know how the Pro Comps compare to FJ80s?

Any useful response is greatly appreciated- ESPECIALLY if you've run both springs at one point!

Thanks!

I have FJ80 fronts on the rear of my wife's 3rd gen; not the same truck, but since I have also run ProComps on the rear of my 2nd gen before it was toasted, I can compare them.

There isn't a comparison between them. Run away from ProComp springs unless you like them sacked, saggy and harsh. The FJ80 springs ride wonderfully as if soft, yet they carry weight well. Fantastic springs. Christo was correct (as he usually is - he is a valued member of our club).

No idea on how much lift they will provide you, but they rule with most 2nd gen guys.

Thanks for the responses. The reason I was asking is because I am looking for a stiffer coil than the FJ80 provides, and not necessarily as much lift. While the FJ80 coils provide good lift and a lot of flex, they're a little too soft for my tastes, and mine do squat a bit when loaded, but that's not very often.

Having that said, I talked to Christo and he's willing to sell me just one short side coil so I can at least be level

Christo is definitely a valued member for us Yota guys and he's going above and beyond by just selling me one coil.

I'll probably just take this route for the time being. Actually, once I take this route I'll probably just forget about it after that
