I've been making a few rear bumper latly, and I'm just wondering if the rear frame area on first gen rodeo/amigo's are the same as first gen trooper? I've seen a few pictures, but I've never had a chance to measure. I know my troopers frame in the rear is 40" wide.
Thanks _chris

does anybody have any pictures of the rear part of an amigo frame? Mainly the sides where the bumper mounts are. I've been searching everywhere for the past 3 1/2 hours
Thanks....

I measured my 1990 Amigo crossmember for you.
The rear crossmember is 40" wide, from outside to outside. At the frame rails, the crossmember is 3" tall, and a few inches inboard of the frame rails, the lower edge drops down to allow a taller section height, about 3.75" tall. The upper edge of the frame rail is level all the way across.
There are three four-bolt rectangular clusters (left bumperette, trailer hitch, and right bumperette) and each is about 3.75" wide and about 1.75" tall. The outermost pair of bolts for the bumperette clusters is about 6.5" in from the outboard side of the frame on each side. The pairs of bolts for the hitch cluster is about 18.5" in from the outboard side of the frame on each side. Also, the bolt pattern is symmetrical, left-to-right.
HTH,

Hey thanks man, Its looks like its pretty much the same. You have two more holes on each side for your bumperettes. Do you think this mount looks like it might work on the amigo? I found a picture of a rodeo, and it was different. The front hole was lower than the rear one on the rodeo. My troopers two holes are level, as you can see in the pic.The holes in the mount are about 3" apart. Thanks again... ![[Linked Image]](http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c317/onebadtrooper/chefs%20bumper%20project/Picture079.jpg)

The front hole was lower than the rear one on the rodeo. My troopers two holes are level Mine appear to be the same height. If there's a difference, its 1/8" or less.
