Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm sure that it's just the need for an alignment being magnified by the locker. But after I installed the aussie up front the truck now pulls when I accelerate. I need to look at a few other things under there as well. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue also. Something else I tried is the locking of one hub only, so I can drive in the snow and it pulls doing that as well. Kind of interesting, but makes sense that with one hub locked it pulls one way, and with the other locked, it pulls the other. Does anyone else use the one hub locked method who has a non-selectable locker up front, and is there a preferred side to lock?

I have aussies front and back, and don't have that problem. Don't think that the aussie in front should have any affect on pulling one way or the other when the hubs are unlocked, even when 4wd is engaged.

It only does it when the hubs are locked.

are all the tires aired up the same? If one side had more pressure in it, it would be a slightly larger diameter and could cause pulling to one side

yeah, all tires the same. Like I mentioned before, I'm most certain that it's the need for an alignment being magnified. Either that or other worn out parts that I'll find soon as I get a chance to crawl underneath it. Thanks

could it be that one of your wheels' hubs isn't locking?

don't think so, I locked each hub one at a time and they work correctly.

alignment is the problem

the aussie if working correctly then there should be no side thats pulling more than the other as far as the drivetrain goes...can't say the same about alignment

my aussie up front does the opposite of what you describe it keeps the truck straight, very straight, and will try to keep it that way even during turns
