I've got a velcro "Hide a key" that I want to attach to my 4runner. It mounts vertical or horizontal.

Where is a really good place that it out of sight and also won't jar loose? I'm thinking rear or front bumper, rather than the sides?

Thanks, Hugh

Better look out for these two; if you're gonna stash a key on the rig, then by golly, I hope you're reading the security thread sticky'd here.

There's plenty of places you can install the velcro key hiders. It's probably the best around, especially with the new cars where there's plenty of plastic body parts. You have to make sure that you clean off the surface really well before you stick that part with the adhesive on it, otherwise it will not work.

I sell plenty of the velcro key hiders, but I prefer to use the magnetic ones on trucks because of them have the frame rails. Best place to put the magnetic hide a keys.

Ok, my "hide a key" is hidden...come on by the try to find it

I won't be using this key very often, but it is great to know that I can get home if I happen to lose/misplace my key.

Awww! Beat me to that one. AAA makes a creditcard emergency key. Worth it.

I'm a surfer and I hide my key all the time when I'm in the water. It doesn't matter where. You don't have to hide it very good. Theives don't look for keys. They will just bust in your window. Happens all the time up here. Seriously.
Those magnetic boxes will fall off. If you lock yourself out regularly keep a copy in your wallet. I also have a key in my surf racks. Again, believe me. No one will look for your ding dong key!
