Need a Spot
I'm glad to hear that.

Like I said, when the decision was made Thursday night at the meeting, all we had was the PM you sent to think about.

I was off the boards (as you probably noticed) when you signed back on and that whole fiasco started.

When I left the situation, the door had been intentionally left open for you and Matt said so. However, that thread made things difficult. I have talked with the same people who emailed you and they weren't aware of your PM nor were they at the BOD meeting. Having access to both sides of the story, they were able to better understand the circumstances.

I could tell you were pissed off and venting in your PM's/emails, which was why I didn't bother to reply.

I won't apologize for any words exchanged between you and any other board/club members because emotions were high on both sides and things were said by everyone that were probably not neccesary.

Hopefully time will heal the damage caused by that, I prefer to not burn bridges.

See you on the trail someday. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I'll let you have the last word...

That door can remain closed, locked and throw the key away. I have no problem with that. Even if I were to be accepted, I'm still not ready for the trails you hit nor could I make the mettings members are expected to attend.
Those people that e-mailed me were aware of the PM because it was posted in that thread by one of the BOD. When I said to delete my ID it was not an ultimatum it was an assumtion that the club didnt want long term guests.. That ended up being a correct assumption. But thats well within your rights.

After my ID was deleted, I created a 2nd ID. But I did not do anything bad or wrong, I posted out there about one guys camper top (which was sweet) and I sent a couple of PMs.. Ultimately it got deleted.. Not a big deal. I had left it alone until after other people starting posting about the proposed by laws change then (specifically) my story came up. I created a 3rd ID and defended / explained my side of the story. Not once blasting anyone or flooding the forums with profanity. Then one guy asked me a question "What do you expect from a club experience?" and I answered him twice and again a third and it still wasnt the right answer. That's when I said "that right there is exactly what is wrong with this club experience. You ask a question that requires an opionated answer (when its an opinion there is no wrong answer) and you blast them because it's not what you think it should be.." That was the thing that most pissed me off. I had enough at that point and signed off with "enjoy your fabulous club" to which a BOD member replied F.U. (spelled out of course) and then the 3rd id was quickly banned. So then I created a 4th ID and made one final post. Just thanking the members for the answers to my stupid questions and wishing the BOD the best of luck thats all..
It's not like I came on there calling your mama's names or something...

Anyway, the moral of the story is, it's your club. Run it how you see fit (which you are). I should have left it alone but when my story came up publicly I felt compelled to defend myself or at least make my intentions known so people could understand where I was coming from when I sent my first PM.

Take care,
Jason
