Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have a 1994 rodeo and want some more power and at the same time keep it dependable so if you were in this situation would you
A. try and make some power out of the 3.2 (if so what would you do)
B. swap it out for a 4.3
C. I work at a corvette shop and can get my hand on an 95 lt1 for a descent price but still on the steep side.
D. put in a carbed 350 or 400 small block also very availible
so what would you do?

C is the best choice

B is to much work for the result

D Carbs suck

A best choice but not likely to get any more power since they dont make any parts for it

If you swap over to lt1 your still going to need harness, ecm and other misc things from corvette or other model. Including tranny and so forth...Would the 4.3 be of more interest if you had a complete running 4x4 unit?
It would be a lot of work but so would the lt1 swap

well I have done a few swaps of lt1s into older vettes like a 1972 that I got done with today. So it is nothing new to me to mount the ecm and all the brackets I have avaible and trannys up the wazoo but do you think it is worth it I can get a engine trans ecm and all the wiring for around 1200 tops 1800 but I will still need a t case and will it fit is the other question

What do you want to do with the truck? I guess my answer depends on that. Do you just want a kickass daily driver and a cool project? or are you looking to offroad this thing?

Also wanted to add you should check on the emission regs in your state about putting an old engine into an OBDI equipped truck. If you go with a carbed engine. In many states the end result has to run as clean as the oem setup
