Started playing around with an idea for mounts for a rear bumper. The full shop and welder(that I have access to) are located in Flagstaff so it may be a while before I get up there.

The real thing would have bends running around the corner and some gussets and bracing for the reciever. The mount design is what I'm really concerned about with the 3D.

Nice draft. My only worry was the strength of the reviever, but you mentioned that.
What program did you use?

I used SketchUp. It's a fairly intuitive 3-D rendering program. Not great for drawing up plans and prints, but great for doing quick rough drawings.

My plan is to do a more solid CAD plan of the brackets and get them fab'd nearby and build the bumper myself around them.
