I'm about to purchase a Clearwater head and wanted your advise on which type of lifters and why.
Thanks

I ditto hydralic, but the debate rages on all over the web. It's not as bad as Manual vs AT tranny but close <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

So usually with a disadvantage (adjusting the valves)comes anadvantage, can anyone say if there is an advantage to the mechanical valve train? Thanks ahead for ant input, Garrett.

there used to be a performance cam for the carbed 2.6.but it only worked with the manual adjusters.but the main thing for me is that the hydrolic ones i had were so noisy that it made me go this route.plus i had manuals on my old 73 ford courier and i dont mind adjusting them.plus i have never had a problem with them.
