Long time since we have heard from you. Nice job finding a chunk of frame at a good price. Hope you are good at welding. I doubt you will find too many people willing to weld it for fear of liability. You did what I would do if my frame rusted.

Query - If you're replacing the frame, or any major part there of, why not just get another frame from an 89/90 SWB and go with the rear coils? Just wondering...

I was kind of wondering that too. Then I thought about how many times he has had the body off. Maybe he is tired of taking it all the way off. Although he probably will for the welding any way.

Yeah it has been a while, thx. Yup good to go on the welding, I'm more than qualified.
Yes I could have went with coils in the back but this was more straight forward and more importantly it was available. I am still a little shocked that the yard let me cut a truck in half, none of the big yards would even entertain the idea, so it is what it is. Just happy to be moving forward again.

Frame is done all one piece now. I had to cut out a little more than I wanted to but the frame is zero rust condition now. Drivetrain this weekend just gotta figure out which one is the lock up converter. Cant believe it's been a year since I tore this down.
