My taco (the one in my sig) dosen't like to come out of 4x4. I swiched to synthetic oil at the first change, and have changed 3 it 3 times since. The rear main seal was leaking, so I replaced last week. I pulled the shift boot off and cleaned the breather. When I try and go from 4x4 to 2wd it dosen't like to come out. It pushes forward fine, but wont get that last click and come out. Some times it works fine others it dosen't. On a bumpy road it will come out, or if it let the clutch out quick and jerk it, it will come out. I would Love to know what is making it do this, Is there something I can do to make it work correct?
