Body Damage is Cool
I've never sold an axle before so I thought I'd ask what they are going for. What should I be looking to get for the 2nd Gen. Dana 44 with a powertrax no-slip? no rotors or calipers. Any body know?

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

Start with lowest price on car-part plus 10%-20% add to that 75% of the cost of the locker. It's used, but it is installed and ready to go.

#2 why?

Wow. Lowest price on there is $90. Way too cheap to let it go.

I ordered a rear axle with 4.77777777777777777777777777777's thinking that the cost of the gear set-up would be more expensive than buying the whole axle and just swapping it out. If I want a locker I could weld it up, or install a new one depending on what kind of money I get for it.

is the 2nd gen the wierd one or is it like a regular d44 just w/ discs? depending on gearing you may still be able to sell it to the jeep crowd. I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 250?

D44 rears go very cheaply around here. With the brake parts missing, even with the powertrax, I doubt you'd find anyone to give you over $150 for it in my neck of the woods.

Gonna have to agree with Sean. Rear axles are almost a dime a dozen around here. I paid less than $200 for my front D44, and a rear would be considerably less. Half the time I see someone selling a front axle, they are throwin the rear in for free. With the locker I'd say $125-160 depending on how clean it is, and your area.
