its me mr newbie again and my monty is still bieng an ass to me and ive tried everything but goto a mechanic because the mechanics here aint too smart and they gott go outa town for any parts..anyway my monty runs fine for about 10-15miles. After awile, i would stop at an intersection, advance but when i would shift to third gear it would sputter and slowdown as i tried to accelerate any ideas on what this could be? (remmaned the carb checked vac lines no leaks and checked fuel pump still pumps, blew out the fuel filter) i think its the vac lines but i never have time to recheck them by the time i get home its already 7pm since i work outta town
88' Montero SWB 2.6L 5 speed, Got for free from my folks I couldnt stand the car I first drove just sit there and die.
