Hi all, newbie on this forum. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Just got back inside the house with my cousin PartyTruck. Thought I show you the pictures we took during a bodylift on an old Pajero I aquired a few weeks ago. We took this lovely antique and installed a 3 1/4 inch poly spacers between body and frame and put on bigger shoes. 37" IROK fitted right in the wheelwells but I will have to take out my trusty angle grinder and doodle a little with the fenders. Then fender flares will be put on to keep the dirt away from the side windows and the cops happy.

This took us around 4 hours partly in total darkness with two lights to help us and only four beers a person <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> !!! No problem for John Boblem. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" />

Hope someone finds this useful and at the least entertaining.

Damnit dudes, that looks awesome. Why am I having seller's remorse after seeing those pics? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Nice work boys! But only 4 beers a side? C'mon! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

What'd you do about the t-case and tranny shifters (I'm assuming its a manual tranny, 'cause you'd never get out of the driveway on 37s with the ol' auto!). I'd like to see a pic in the light, alongside cousin's truck! GenIs and IIs side by side just seems right...

Cheers
PHIL

Body Damage is Cool
That old limo has an automatic Phil and suprisingly it didn't loose that much power. Uphill is a litle heavyer but driving around town feels the same. 4 beer a head is all it took since Mitsu's are so properly built and ideal for modding. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Your'e next Phil, that SWB you bought was born to have big shoes for the Canadian snow.

Heheh. Party, you're a bad influence. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

What gears did the 2.5td limo ship with? 488s or the 529s? My auto limo on 33s with 462s was okay around town, but on the highway (speed limit over here is 110kmh+) it was pretty anemic.

Those tires look right on that thing somehow... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

The bigger they are the 'righter' they look. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> Just wait untill the flares are on.

Phil: This one has 4.875:1

greaglecrawler: This "kit" is homemade. I just had a metal supplier cut down a 60mm diameter poly rod to 80mm pcs. There are 12 of them. The I added the 80mm to length of the original bolts and got 170mm bolts, 10 pcs and 190mm, 2 pcs (the rearmost bolts are longer).
The only problems so far are:

I will have to lengthen the shift linkage for the automatic transmission and the transfer case shift lever.
I had to look out for the brake lines, but there was so much excess line from the factory that it wasn?t a problem.
I will have to check the fuel tank a little better out but I don?t expect any problems with the hoses there.

Now I just have to raise the bumpers and put the fender flares on. The flares will be put on this week. (I will also get a new boot/trunk door as this one was hit with a flying hook from my Trooper when getting it unstuck in snow slush last spring and that incident left a beautiful looking hole)

P.S. Here?s a pic of my Trooper that I?m selling.
