Hey yall. I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner Sport with the TRD package and I have been looking for grill guards for the thing. The problem is that alot of the the companies like Smittybilt, for example, have grill guards for the regular 4runner but they don't fit the Sport Version. I am having trouble finding a company that has one that fits the Sport Version. Ive only found that WAAG and GoRhino have the oness that fit the Sport version and I was wondering if yall knew any other companies that sell a grill guard that fits it. I want to stay under 500 dollars and even the high 400s is almost too high so please throw some names out. Also, if you could throw out some websites that have good deals on those kinda things, that would be great.
Thanks alot guys.

I got a WAAG Frontrunner for my 2002 sport edition and have gotten compliments on it. I like that it doesn't come up high and cover the headlights. The "main support bars" have a rubber coating on them - have pushed numerous dead cars off the road and left not a mark on one of them. WAAG also makes a little kit to mount the alum brush plate (that comes with SE) onto the guard. http://www.waag.com/frontrunner/

I have a full brush guard it was actually nice when I got into my accident it took some of the damage and it wasn't ruined and I just like the full guard look.

I too have a WAAG grill guard. I didn't buy it, it came on the truck when bought. It had some small rust marks and scrapes on it, so I just sanded it down and painted it black.
Looks great, and also provides a little extra protection. It's on my truck in my small icon picture to the left. The picture is before I sanded/painted.
Unless you're running a gay browser like Internet Explorer, right click on the pic, and click 'View Image'. (This works on Firefox and Mozilla). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
Too close for missiles, I'm switching to guns...
