Well recently my trucks engine went out and I was wondering if anyone has completed the 3.4 swap using the offroad solutions kit. The kit doesnt say anything about getting a new tranny so I think my 3.0 tranny would work.

Your 3.0 tranny, if an R150 5-spd, will indeed work.

CORunner93 (not sure about the username) has done an excellent job but did not use the ORS harness, he did it the hard way. He can advise on particulars, or a search might reveal what you need. He did a lengthy post on it with a lot of info.

Mike at ORS is generally extremely helpful with info, BTW. Accurate info too. He does it the right way if not necessarily the easiest or quickest in some cases. But always right.

Hope that helps,
