You can try a tire place and see if they have a key. When I bought my truck I had the same problem both with the spare and a Locked on Yakima rack. Luck for me I have a friend named "Jerry's Machine Shop" the lock was no match for the air chisel

That wheel lock key should be available at any wheel/tire place. Its a verry common lock. Its what they sell as lugs with most aftermarket rims. Not much of a lock anymore because everyone has the key. I have one out in the shop.

Low tech, and might wreck the nut, but some stilsons (pipe wrench) would work ok?

I have a special tool for removing those things. The locking nut is pretty much useless when it comes off, but it does come off. I bought it on the Mac truck back when I could find a Mac truck

I'm pretty sure a Snap-On truck would have something.

Try checking in the jack compartment for the key, that's where I keep mine, in the plastic resealable bag that the locks came in. Could also be in the compartment on the PS as well. No reason for the previous owner to loose it.

There are basicly Twelve keys for the mitsu locks. They are
coloer coded. If you go to a Mitsu dealer they have a set
of all twelve that they let you use to find out what color/key you need for a replacement.if you dont have the locks on your rims you might be able to talk them into
letting you use the set to take your spare lock off.Check
with the parts dept.I know this because I had to get another key.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Ya'll are gettin' fancy with your keys... I just used a 12 point socket (I think it was 11-12mm...not sure, was 3 years ago), banged it on with a BFH and then proceeded to remove the lock nut. Put socket in vice, knock out nut with BFH, repeat

yup... done a couple like that. pointless to try to save it if you dont have the key, and it dont cost anything.

If the pipewrench doesn't work just weld a socket on it.
