Need a Spot
For those interested. My 2002 Sport with no lift. Just installed 16x8, with -6mm offset and BFG ATKO sized at 275/70R16. Minor trimming of inner wheel well liner (rear inner most) and no rubbing. There will be some rubbing under compression but I'll live with it.

It ended up pushing the tires out even with the fender flares, so it looks right now. smile

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I've got 265x75x16 revos. Please explain the difference with offset - do your tires stick out more from the well? Should I do the same when time for new tires and rims? I left the one side running board on because sometimes I give my 80 year old mother a ride to doctors/shopping and she can't get in without it. It rubbed a little on the driver's side at full lock so I removed that one.

In a word Search. The topic is heavily covered in the archives. I posted with full specs because *that* was hard to find (not many ppl posting what they actually got, just what should work). The -6 seems to work pretty well. Since I dont and didnt ever have running boards I can't say how well it would work. And yes the - offset pushes the wheel outward from the well.

I'm still very pleased. No noticeable difference in mileage or speedo. RPM's before match what I show now. And they look alot meatier.

Hope that helps.

As long as the offset is less than you originally had then, yes, it will push the wheels out. Wheel offset is the distance from the flange that mates against the axel/rotor to an imaginary line along the inner edge of the rim......i.e. to measure, lay a ruler across the inner edge of the rim and then measure down to the flange, that's your offest.

Did you change tire size? if you did your speedo IS off. And there is no way your RPM's could be different, no matter if you had 40's on or the stockers. RPM's are an electrial measurement off of the ignitor/coil.

I'm just looking at installing my second set on my 2000 4runner, I got about 80,000 miles on them.

I'm just buying a second set. I turned my white lettering in... I like yours out.. thanks for the pictures.
