Need a Spot

I'm installing a coolant reservoir in a '79 truck with the 20r engine, and I wanted to know if it needs to be hooked up to anything besides the hose from the radiator. It doesn't look like it from the manuals I've been reading, but I thought that I'd ask on here just to be sure.

did your truck not have a reservoir to start with? all you need to do is hook it to the hose that comes off the radiator neck, and you're good to go <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, it didn't have one on it. I installed it today, and filled the system with coolant. No leaks so far.
