In the time I have had my Rodeo, I have been through about 4 sets of shocks. I have Monroe Reflex's on currently, about 2 years old. The last change was because the back was bottoming out with even a light load. With the new shocks, I still seemed to have the problem. Honestly this go around, I can't tell whether its the shocks or whether my springs are worn out. How can you isolate which one is worn?? Thanks

if the springs are worn you'll get bottoming, shocks only help keep tires from leaving the pavement/unless you're using coil overload shocks. if you dont want to replace your springs(which you will have to do eventually) try the coil overload shocks and throw in a set of helper springs. who knows the back might even come up an inch or 2

It's definitely the springs. Everyone's leaves seem to get worn and saggy. Install a set of helpers like joe darlingtons. They are listed as 2 inches of lift, so I bet you gain and inch back to stock, and an inch extra. Your ride will improve greatly! If you like, you can crank the front a bit to match. It's easy and improves the ride.
