Getting the Wheeling Fever
Jon, I just left you a voicemail. Sorry it's taken me so long to get in touch. Anyway I'm getting a new car this week so I'm looking to ditch the monty, if you are interested. It's an auto, V6, LSD, 4x4 works, BFG AT KO tires, new windshield, lots of new parts, new KYB shocks, etc. makes me sad to see the thing go. I left you my number on the voicemail. thanks!

I don't want the thing to be crushed! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I still have the truck. If no one buys it it's going to the crusher. I'd like to get 750 for it. I'm in southern california. The truck can be driven home.

PS: oh yeah, blue 4dr 4X4 LSD v6 montero, 237k miles, losing coolant. Body is a little rough in spots, but interior is very good. Has pretty new BFG AT KO tires. lots of new parts.

Why would you sell it for $750 if you can get $1000 to retire it due to smog testing?

You mean they give you $1000, but then pencil-whip you? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Not the paprwork, but I'd just rather not see the thing crushed. I guess I just have too much attachment to the monty. So far no responses. Where is that pic of the circling crows? lol

Well, I tried to do vehicle retirement, but it doesn't qualify since it has to fail a biennial smog check, not just any smog check. So I'd have to wait over a year.

I'll lower the price on the truck to 600 dollars. The tires alone cost me that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
