Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
My temp guage is maxed out on the hot side, yet the thing isn't even running. Can you guys point me in the right direction?

I would think your sending unit is bad or unplugged. It's next to the oil filter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> Tell me about it.. when I got my turbo engine running last year, I had the wire hooked up wrong, and the guage went to the red after it started. Boy did that freak me out.

I would think your sending unit is bad or unplugged. It's next to the oil filter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> The unit next to the oil filter in for oil pressure. The temp sensor is on the other side.
Over the hill but still climbing. 88 Montero 2.6L auto, manual hubs, cooling fan conversion gps,recurved distributor,LSD Diff.

What was I thinking <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> I have even replaced it, Its on the drivers side where the T-stat is. There are two one is the sending unit for the guage the other for the AC. I will have to look at the manual to see which is which.
