The crank is the same, you just need to insert a new pilot bushing and yes bellhousing will mount up as long as you get the parts from a 3.0 truck or 4runner.Your driveshafts should work mine did. You'll need to take very good measurements for the holes to mount the slavecylinder.

You need:
pedal assembly
mastercylinder, slavecylinder, hard line & soft line & mount
Trans & Transfer
shifter boots and suround

I don't know if you'll need the crossmember or not, mine is a 4cyl and i didn't need to change it and i don't think you'll need to change it but can't promise anything.Maybe someone will chime in whos done a 3.0. I have more info but i'm not at home now so i can't send it.

Good luck, Later

You will need an ECU and engine wiring harness from the 5 speed vehicle. They are different from the auto to 5 speed. You should be able to use parts from 4runners up to year 1995.

If you found a wrecked 5 speed it may be easier to buy it whole and then you would have all the right parts to just swap over.

i talked to a guy who did the swap and said the auto ecu has better fuel curve and preformance and to leave it, just hot wire the nutral safty switch and reverse lights and leave everything else unplugged. so ima try it that way first. but if i get problems ill swap the harnes and ecu
