My 91 Trooper with 2.8L V6 has an oil cooler on it. The lines for the cooler mount right to the oil filter mount. One of the lines is leaking at the crimp. These are steel braided, high pressure, high temp, with crimped fittings on swivel couplings. They are available new for $160 on the supply side, and $140 on the return side. EEEKE! Thats spendy. Anyone know of an after-market line for these that is cheaper? Or even a hose manufacturer that can do metric? Thanks in advance... in Seattle area.

Hello,

I extended the length of my hoses for my body lift. Actually, the hoses have standard fittings on the ends. On these fittings are standard-to-metric adapters. However, I took the hoses to a hydraulic outfit here in Denver and they just reused the existing fittings with new crimping hardware. For getting both hoses lengthened it cost me ~$75. Good luck!

This is great news. I have a hydraulic hose shop nearby in Kirkland. I'll give them a shot at it.

Thanks Jim smile
