Well, I have finally done it. Tonight I picked up my "new to me" DD. A 1995 Nissan Maxima with only 95K on it
Now, the Troop can turn into a weekend only/trail rig
However, after meeting the tree in the rock garden again at Uwharrie I will come back next time with a new approach. A locker makes a huge difference! However, even though I love the BFG ATs that I have I think I may need a wider tire now.
1988 Trooper: 2.6L Delta Cam, Pacesetter Header, K&N, 2 1/4 exhaust, CB, Lights by Hella, Warn Hubs, 6.5 inches of lift thanks to DOR and PA, Rancho 9000x's, 33X12.50 Durango MTs 1995 Nissan Maxima...the DD :-)

Oh, and before anybody freaks out, im just kidding, i would never cut down a tree to get it out of the way on a trail...i do tread lightly...most of the time

There is a lesson here: don't take the bypass I can't count the number of people who have hit that tree and the tree that is right in the middle of the hard lines. That's the tree that I tagged with my roof rack, and the tree that Mark almost smooshed me at when he decided that faster was better on the right side rock. -Tad

Well, if that tree wasn't there I would hate to see what might happen to some of our rigs...
But yeah I will not be taking that line again.

It must be nice living close to Bansil. He and I have come up with some really sick stuff, but being 5 hours away, it makes it kinda hard to put alot of that form into function. But just wait...
