Actually tred plate will be an option, and yes the rear has already been mocked in Cboard, we have a gen 1 in the shop but that is scheduled for fall. I must reinforce this is not an attempt to sell any products, but just the first of a young mans dream, what ever you do, do with a little STYLE. We think the products out there are great but lack the styling for a DD. You have only seen the begining phase of this one. We've got the Isuzu bug, just want to continue the movement.

I was thinkin' about sumthin' the other day... I was wondering if it would make any sense to make a sorta "bumper cover" ... like what you built, but that would just bolt on top of the existing bumper ??? Drill a few holes in the old meat, and bolt the thing right on top .
Is that a dumb idea ? [/quote]
Not Dumb at all, that is where the diamond tred hit us, what about a bumper which was'nt trail tough but just took the soccer mom off the rig, I have a sheet of 1/8" left over from a job, Hmmm.

last pics looks really great good job on the bumper. Cant wait to see the rear whenit is done. WHile you at it you mar want to drill some holes for some fog lights and recess them. That would be a nice finish

Round would be easiest, but the lines I'm seeing are square (square mirrors, square truck, square headlites), so square driving (or fog) lites I think would look best. Just inboard of the headlights (outside edge to outside, about 45* from each other).
