oh no what happened.... i stopped and washed truck washed under the hood to get rid of dirty and see where oil leak is from ...drove home and it startesd to sputter , poor power and shake...slowed down to turn corner and it stalled ...started again ....then slowed and it died.....got out and checked antifreeze resevoir is over full.....tried to start again and when it did( some cranking) there was terrible white blue smoke that came out of exhaust......quite a bit also.....had to keep it reved so could so would stay running... HELP!!!!!! what happened??

You didn't wash under the hood with the engine hot, did you?

That's a real good way to crack or warp a cylinder head.

Time to look into a head gasket change. How long did you run the truck after the white smoke appeared? You may get lucky and simply have to replace the gasket (like me), or you might be buying a new head. There is all the information you'll need on these forums if you search. Good luck and welcome.

You are dealing with the same problem you had before. In fact, with that low of compression in that one cylinder, you should not have been driving it at all.

yes i did wash under hood while warm........crap learn the hard way ok wont do that any more, it only ran for about max 2 min. just about 2 blocks..am towing it to mechanics in next couple of days..can i just hook on and throw in "N" and pull it...someone said this may not be a good idea. oh well i guess now ill see whats inside!

I should not have been driving it? I did not read that any where!!! oh well guess we see whats going on in there...and yes there is lots of good info that i will relay to my mechanic...thank u will let u know how it goes..

Typically one wouldn't drive a vehicle that was showing signs of impending doom (low compression)

I don't mean to oversimplify but did you check your spark plug wires or see if maybe you cracked a plug?
