I put a new radio in my jeep (1990 cherokee Ltd) and have two wires from truck - left over doing nothing? 1) orange/blk 2) blue/white They have no power - anyone no what they are for

Generally speaking the orange/ black probably is a back light feed for the factory radio. Turn on the headlights and see if you have Batt+ on that wire. It is not used w/ non OEM head units. Second the blue/white usually is a remote wire for a power antenna option that may not be there. The radio would feed Bat+ to the power ant to deploy it when you turned on the radio. I do not have a schematic and I just was going from experience of installing radios in that year range Jeep.
