I am having problem with engaging/disengaging 4WD system.
I have a Limited 2000 4Runner that has push in button on the 4wd selector stick. When I pressed it, the lights on the dash that shows 4wd system engaged are blinking. Unlocking the button or moving lever to 4wd or 2wd position
are not doing anything. Now I am half way into 4wd. I feel that the front wheels have engaged into 4wd mode, where I currently stuck. Please help me resolve this issue before EC4RJ event in 2 weeks.

Check the electrical connectors to the transfer case. Some members have found water/corrosion inside, inhibiting the system from doing it's job.

Clean them out, and apply dielectric grease before plugging them back in, and you should *hopefully* be back in business!
