After pumping the blooming fool out of my manual pump during a fuel filter change, I read some posts from a few folks on here (Thank you!!) about using a vacuum bottle.

Anyhow, I ended up using one of those air compressor powered cleaning guns and hooked the draw tube to the fuel overflow outlet. The tube is clear, so you can stop drawing air (fuel) before the cleaning gun sprays any of it out. I already had one, but I think one could be bought for less than 2 pints at home depot.

Just thought this would help someone else.
