Installed manual hubs, but Driveshaft still turning. #721633 05/07/06 09:29 PM

Hey guys.. I recently installed some manual hubs, because my automatics were constantly staying locked, making my front driveshaft turn. Well, when I installed the manual hubs, the driveshaft still kind of turns... it doesn't turn fast at all, and I can manually turn the driveshaft by hand. But I was just wondering what would make it even turn slightly? Also, when I got done with a 40 minute drive, I noticed that my right hub was hot as h3ll, and the left one was fine. Anyway, any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
-Nick

It's turning from the 80-90 weight oil... It's normal for it to turn slowly, as long as you can stop it by hand (or hold it in place). The turning would be coming from the T/C output.

The right side caliper may be dragging... Check the slides. Could also be the bushings in the spindle causing the heat. I'd check into this.
