Am trying to find carrier assemly w/4.77 gears from '89-91 Troopers. Most Troops in salvage yards show up on their computers as only having 4.56 ratio. Where does one find the code 6NZ that indicates wide tire package w/4.77's? Would this be in the VIN or stamped on the info plate?

'99 Trooper, ARBs, 4.77s, ARB bullbar, Warn M8000 w/Amsteel, OME 912s w/2.5" spacers, Rancho 9000xs, K&N/Magnaflow, 33" Kumho MT's, Aisins, boulder bars, Indy 4X brake lines, diff drop, Flexalite

Should be stamped on the plaquard under the hood, maybe also in the glove box or something like that on a 1st gen..

good luck. it might be easiest to search for '89 Trooper RS's (2dr, SWB)... though rare themselves, consensus seems to be they all have 4.77's.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
If you look on the options tag on the firewall the wide tire option is listed as C-60, I don't think that the actual ratio is listed other than tracing the VIN and getting the spec sheet.
