Body Damage is Cool
I was out working on my fuel cell today , and am ready to mount it up , but with the adapters and hoses on the top of the cell , it sticks up 4.5" over the top of the cell. Now , what I am looking for , is where the top of the stock tank sits , and how much room is between it and the body.I didn't take those measurements before I took my trucks apart Anyway , if I know those , I can adjust the cell accordingly by those numbers , then factor in my body lift.It would be muchly appreciated

I get right at 2inches measuring at the body support and less then 1/2inch under the support. There's 5 1/4inches on the one I have with 3inch body lift.

When you say body support , are you talking the cushion mounts?Or are you saying beside that support , it sits flush with the frame?I just don't want to be off when I go to put the body on , and have to remove the feul cell and redo it all

This is greatly appreciated by the way.

Yes inside the frame rail by the body mounts the cross brace that runs from side to side. I measured about the middle of the tank to body floor the 1/2inch was at the bottom of the cross brace to tank. Your welcome anytime
