I installed the rad drops that came in the kit when I did the body lift on my old 88 You mean the kit comes with drop brackets? Why did I make my own I'm sure mine will be vastly superior Andre

Andre in the kit you'll see 4 pcs of flat steel with a stud on 1 end and a hole in the other, those drop the radiator. They also make good drop brackets for the e-brake cable mount on the frame. Also will work to relocate the rear brake line junction on the axle. This leaves 1 left which you give to a friend when you lift the back of their truck.
Eh a Bigpoppa, look at your rodeosport, those brackets won't even come close to working.
There are 4 rubber donuts;with a plastic stud which is molded into the radiator the studs fit into said brackets...2 on top 2 on bottom.

Wow what a difference. We are good to go,the cooling system is the --->!
Never once this weekend did the truck heatup past normal, never!!!
Lot's of the climbs were steep, rocky trails that once you started up,you where there til the end.Which was upwards of a mile or so to the top of the mountain.
Very good mod for automatic B/L rigs

I finally got my radiator drop brackets finished and installed. Here is the bottom bracket, stock and with 3" spliced in ![[Linked Image]](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e381/soulpatch75/Trans%20tech/raddropbracket.jpg) I got the bottom ones in, and some new radiator hoses. Now I need to extend the top bracket to hold it all in place. Andre

Im slightly confused Bansil...
Just in the middle of a 3" body lift on my buddies 2000 Rodeo.
Got the front and rear pucks on and bolted, but had to unbolt the shroud since the fan was hitting it upon lifting. What is the easiest way to fix this?
Cut the bottom lip that the radiator sits on and make another one 3" lower? How are the drop brackets utilized?
Thanks, and any pics you can snap would be awesome.
I havent looked at the bumper brackets yet, but is there a fix for them? It appears that the bumpers need to be raised, I did remove them, but couldnt find brackets that looked like they would work... worst case is that the bumpers have a gap...

Cut the bottom lip that the radiator sits on and make another one 3" lower? How are the drop brackets utilized? The 4 brackets you got in the kit, will not work for our radiators, but they make good brackets to lower things like both ebrake mounts on frame, brake t on rearend and then save one for a friend The radiator needs to come out and youll see the bottom brackets, cut grind them off and position 3" lower. Same with the top,I'll try to get some pics but it'll be a day or two. Bumpers are easy, the back one will slid back onto the side clips on the rear fenders and sit on top off the frame 3" higher.A quick weld bead and rear bumper is done. The front same way, bend the "safety tab" flat, postion bumper and weld factory tabs to frame.

radiator does not need to be droped. the shround actually has a 2 piece lower section that can be split and till keep the remaining 1 inch of lip on it. Cooling should not be an issue though. I have yet to have a problem.
