Getting the Wheeling Fever
Can anyone point me towards any info on replacing this bulb (front, driver on a 2002)? Just noticed it was out last night and (at least with a flashlight) it seems like it's pretty tough to get to.

Thanks!

The one in the fender?

Mine was held in place with a Phillips head screw that you will see when you lift the hood. Remove the screw and begin rocking the housing up and down while pulling it towards the front of the vehicle. It may be fairly snug, but it is just a press fit. Once it's out, remove the factory socket from the housing by twisting it counter-clockwise.

I was led to believe that is was a larger hassle than you describe. I always get good help here! Thanks! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Would this be the same for a 99 Tacoma b/c it seems there is a bolt behind it holding the parking light to the truck?

I believe Mark's procedure works for all model Tacos '95.5-'04.

Thanks Mark. I'll take another look today and see if I can get it out.

I like the saying you have RichinROA about coal mining. Born and raised in WV and I was actually just back there for Thanksgiving.

As sad as it is, it's 100% true. If you aren't a welder, chemist, engineer, or miner, there isn't much for ya in them hills.
