I cant get my 500's to work..tested everything. wondering 2 things. 1) isn't the ground wire best under the mounting bracket to the pushbar?
2) arent Hellas supposed to be semi water tight? The fogginess in the rain dosent look good here . Any thoughts? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

No, ground should be close to the battery as possible or at a factory ground bolt location on engine, frame or wiring harness. IIRC I tied into a ground bolt on fenderwell where several OEM ground wires were junctioned together.

2. I have the rectangular Hellas (550?), I vaguely remember the bulbs dont have a weather seal but mine dont get foggy. I would think regular use would burn off any vapor anyways.

Whats the circuit path of your foglights? Did you use relay included with kit? Tied into headlight low beams? Hard to say why they dont work, not enuf info.

1) For my lights, I run the ground up by the relay which is next to the battery.

2) The Hella 500's and 550's are known for not being water tight. That was one of the reasons that I stayed away from them.

Sport:)
