On a YJ, after i remove the hard doors, how do i dismantle the interior lights and buzzer from staying on? is the preferred method to pull a fuse, or disconnect the button on the door frame or what? thanks

The fuse in question is used for other circuits as well. (I don't remember which) They can be bought from places like Quadratec Or you can make one out of a coke can. Mine is no longer hooked to the pin switchs because I forgot how to put the doors back on.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> It is hooked to a toggle switch so I can flip it on when needed.

I just removed the alarm because I hate those damn things and I hooked the inside lights to a toggle switch.

thanks, it seems to me that pulling a fuse would be the simpler option. do you know which fuse # to pull, is it the fuse box under the dash or the one under the hood? It will only dismantle the interior lights/buzzer and nothing else right? thanks for the help

disconnect the wire behind the door switch, just like Jeepete said. Keep it simple!
