Here's a tip...once you have indentified your speaker wires, and you are not sure which is posotive and which is negative (this is very very important. Speakers with the polarity reversed do not work correctly, especially in stereo), use a 9 volt battery to test polarity. When you touch the + side of the battery to the + wire the speaker should move OUT.

TexJeff I had forgotton about the 9 volt method. That was one thing that was tought in my auto shop class many years ago in high school. Been tooo many years to remember all the those things.

Hrmmmm i dont really trust the 9v battery... i'd use a 1.5... wouldnt want to damage the speakers... and just tap it.... dont hold it there!!!
