While replacing the front fenders last winter I broke off the two bottom bolts on both sides. Last weekend, I finally got around to drilling and re-tapping them. Drivers side went well but when I went to center punch theh pass. side both broke free. They are now loose inside the body. Anyone run into this? If so, what did you do to get at and re-attach them?

You could try installing a RivNut into the hole. Basically it is similar to a pop rivet but is internally threaded. I use them a lot on my truck.

I just like the subject of this post. Looks like a front page paper headline. LOL
Oh yeah, Rivnuts are the way to go, too. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />
