hello I'm trying to get headers for my 88 suburban 6,2 diesel. but I can't find it. do anyone make headers for diesels, or is there just for gasolines? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Hi, for the most part the diesel engine doesn't seem to have the aftermarket availability when it comes to headers like the gas engine does. And I speak of this for just about every diesel engine out there, not just GM. The 6.2 and 6.5 diesels are still popular over here in the US, but when it comes to trying to get more power out of them most people put an aftermarket turbo system on them instead of headers. The V8 gas engines are the engines that seem to have a great choice of headers for and I've never seen one for a diesel before. Not to say that one is not available, but it's likely there isn't for the 6.2 diesel. For the turbo kit I spoke of above take a look at www.bankspower.com as one is available for your model engine. I would much rather like to get this kit instead of headers anyway if it were me looking into it. But you may not be interested because the price isn't always the best for the wallet.
