Need a Spot
From the experience of you toughies out there I have a question.
Except for price is there a real difference between the two lift kits in performance?
Other good options.
What to do and not to do on a Rodeo when you do a suspension lift off the shelf?
Thanks

Maintenace is high but woth it.
Isuzu goes places!

Whoa - there are off-the-shelf lift kits for Rodeos? Why didn't I use one of those!?!

Way back when, I actually did try to lift the Rodeo through a Calmini kit, then slowly whittled away at the $800 kit over the course of a year, finally settling on a solid axle swap.

What year is your Rodeo, by the way? There are some certain do's and don'ts, like "Don't try to go way too high and tear up all your CV boots like Mike did" and "Too little unsprung weight and HD torsion bars will make your kidneys bleed like Mike's do".

Botswana Africa?

IÆm just guessing - but are you planning on getting your parts from the guys in the R.S.A.?

If so, they are truly a great bunch, and have thoroughly æfield-testedÆ all of the aftermarket components that they use on their Isuzus (mostly Troopers, Single-Cabs, and Double-Cabs).

If not - here are a few links for you:

A thread at IsuzuOffroad.co.za, featuring the supplier: Dune Offroad

Hope this helps
