Need a Spot
Well, been working on my rs for almost 2 months now, trying to make her right, in prep for a drive to Central America. Have rebuilt the truck from the crank up, with slight aftermarket mods(cam, exhaust, had to bore .20 over) Now I have oil leaks under pressure as well as no pressure(seems to be form the cast aluminum oil pan under pressure right blow the timing cover) on the front of the engine. And I think from the rear main seal or oil gallery plug as well with no pressure & with pressure.. or both. Dumb q I know but any suggestions? She runs good, And will be taking her on her first little test run(40-50 miles tomorrow) Any danger comments. Hoping she will heat up and stop but that is a serious hope that I know won't come true. Just hate to believ that I gotta pull the engine for a 3RD time to make her right. Sorta venting on this end but would appreciate any suggestions. I'll keep it short from now on. Thanks ahead of time, -Noel-

Any of those places you mentioned could be leaking. You will have to clean it off and take a look.

Where did you source your galley plugs from? Isuzu? If not, they may not be sized correctly, as those are metric sized holes. SAE will come close, but maybe not close enough.

Good Luck,
Michael
