So during the tear down, while trying to unhook the fuel line (pre-fuel filter) I broke the corroded line. Short of going to the dealer and buying a new fuel line, is there a way I can maybe use a rubber hose and a clamp or anything like that? If I can drop the front end tomorrow to get the damn oil pan back on (cant jack the motor up enough with the head on) and get this fuel line fixed I'll be ready to roll. So, can a hose and hose clamp work as a temporary solution?

Yes I have had the rubber hose quick fix on m '93 for about two months now. I have driven the truck the same way as always.....hard, and have not had any problems yet. I do plan on spending the 45 bucks canadian and buying the new hard line. This resulted from a fuel filter change.

So i picked up some rubber fuel line to do a quick fix. The line I got is rated to 50psi, I know the EFI system doesnt run that high pressure. Just out of curiosity though, what kind of pressure do our EFI systems run?

Pressure regulator keeps it in the 30-40 psi range.
